The femoral components are polished, collarless, tapered and based on the Müller straight stem design. All Furlong cemented femoral stems have a 12/14 spigot and a neck shaft angle of 143 degrees. The acetabular cups are hemispherical ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and are based on the successful Müller design.

Primary femoral stems are available in 5 sizes to fit the majority of femoral canals and provide an adequate continuous cement mantle. Revision stems are available in 200mm and 300mm lengths.

The UHMWPE cemented acetabular cups are available in 44mm – 62mm outside diameter (O.D.) sizes to accommodate either cobalt chromium (CoCr) or ceramic 28mm femoral heads, or in 47mm – 62mm O.D. sizes to accommodate 32mm CoCr or ceramic heads. Cross linked polyethylene cemented acetabular cups are available in 50mm – 62mm O.D. sizes to accommodate 36mm CoCr or ceramic heads.
